3. AI Processing & Visual Content
The photos you submit for virtual try-on sessions are utilized strictly for the transformation process. While we store your finished social posts, images uploaded solely for temporary AI try-on testing are handled with heightened sensitivity to ensure they are not repurposed for facial recognition or identification outside of the wardrobe simulation context.
4. Facial Data Collection and Usage
Our AI Virtual Try-On feature processes images that may contain facial information. This section provides detailed information about how we handle such data in compliance with applicable privacy regulations.
4.1 What Facial Data We Collect:
- Facial Geometry: When you upload a photo for virtual try-on, our AI system analyzes basic facial geometry (such as face position, orientation, and general proportions) solely to accurately overlay garments onto your image.
- Body Pose Data: We detect body positioning and posture to ensure realistic clothing placement in the generated visualization.
- No Biometric Identification: We do NOT collect, create, or store facial recognition templates, biometric identifiers, or any data that could be used to uniquely identify you across different contexts.
4.2 How We Use Facial Data:
- Virtual Try-On Processing: Facial and body geometry data is used exclusively to generate realistic virtual try-on images showing how clothing items would appear on you.
- Image Rendering: The data enables proper alignment, scaling, and blending of garment images with your uploaded photo.
- No Other Purposes: Facial data is NOT used for facial recognition, identity verification, advertising targeting, user profiling, or any purpose other than the virtual try-on feature you explicitly requested.
4.3 Third-Party Sharing:
- AI Processing Partner: Your uploaded images are transmitted to our AI processing infrastructure provider (Alibaba Cloud) solely for the purpose of generating virtual try-on results. This provider is contractually bound to process data only according to our instructions and to maintain appropriate security measures.
- No Sale or Marketing Use: We do NOT sell, license, or share facial data with any third parties for advertising, marketing, or any commercial purposes unrelated to the virtual try-on service.
4.4 Data Storage Location:
- Images uploaded for virtual try-on processing are temporarily stored on secure cloud servers located in data centers that comply with international security standards.
- Generated try-on result images that you choose to save are stored in your account on our secure cloud infrastructure.
4.5 Data Retention Period:
- Temporary Processing Images: Photos uploaded solely for virtual try-on generation are automatically deleted within 24 hours after processing is complete.
- Saved Results: If you choose to save a virtual try-on result to your profile or social feed, that image is retained until you delete it or close your account.
- No Permanent Facial Data Storage: We do NOT permanently store extracted facial geometry, facial feature data, or any derived biometric information. Such data exists only transiently during the active processing session.
4.6 Your Control Over Facial Data:
- You may delete any saved virtual try-on images from your account at any time.
- Upon account deletion, all associated images and any residual processing data are permanently removed from our systems.

5. Information Distribution
We do not sell your personal details to third-party brokers. Data sharing is limited to:
- Infrastructure Providers: Service partners who provide cloud storage, AI processing capabilities, and database management.
- Analytics: Aggregated, non-identifying metrics shared with partners to understand overall trend patterns in fashion.
- Legal Mandates: Situations where disclosure is required by law or to protect the safety of our users.
6. Data Security & Retention
We implement technical safeguards designed to shield your records from unauthorized access. This includes encrypted transit for your photos and secure hashing for passwords. We retain your information for as long as your account remains active or as needed to provide you with our fashion services. Should you choose to delete your account, your personal data will be purged from our active databases, though some metadata may remain in encrypted backups for a limited period.
7. User Autonomy & Rights
Regardless of your geographic location, Pexir provides tools for you to:
- Review and update your profile information at any time.
- Request a digital copy of the personal data we hold.
- Demand the deletion of your account and associated content.
- Opt-out of specific notifications or data processing activities via your account settings.
8. Eligibility & Minor Safety
Pexir is exclusively designed for a mature audience. Our services are restricted to individuals who are at least 18 years of age. We do not intentionally gather or maintain records from anyone under this age threshold. If we discover that a minor has bypassed these restrictions, we will act immediately to terminate the account and erase the related data.
